Climate Friendly public workshops – not just another dull seminar but actual hands on experience days for residents of all ages. Here are some examples of the sorts of activities we can offer:

• Build solar collectors, wind generators and PV systems

• Test and measure energy efficiency of appliances

• Learn about careers and courses in sustainable energy

• Learn about sustainable food growing and shopping.

• Try out composting

• Try out alternative fuelled vehicles

• Work out the embodied energy and carbon in goods and services

• Find out about low carbon tourism and carbon offset schemes

We can arrange a dedicated event or integrate these activities with another event you may be organising, indoors or outdoors. We will co-ordinate representatives from partner organisations who are experts in their field to provide a fully staffed and efficiently run event. We will organise publicity both to attract visitors and after the event.
