A tour of climate friendly sites and projects is the perfect way to involve and educate key people in your area who can shape policy and action for the future.

If you take up this option, we will:

• Research and map climate friendly projects in your area and a sensible distance beyond.

• Put together a varied and interesting day's itinerary of projects to visit, in consultation with you.

• Contact the owners or managers of the site to arrange for access and details, plus booking a suitable site guide where possible

• Produce a publicity flyer and pdf for you to mail to prospective participants

• Arrange transport, locally sourced and organic lunch, refreshments and information packs.

Sites might include:

• Renewable energy installations on different scales from domestic and community up to commercial projects

• Community heating and Combined Heat and Power projects

• Sustainable, low energy design and construction projects

• Innovative recycling and composting initiatives and facilities

• Local and organic food production and distribution projects or businesses

• Sustainable transport initiatives

• Sustainable tourist accommodation and visitor centres

• Biodiversity and sustainable land management projects

• Sustainable communities

• Sustainable offices and businesses

Costs are dependent on party size, but include all arrangement, publicity material, minicoach, organic and local food lunch, tour guides, information packs and any site entry costs. Please contact us to discuss your needs
