Options Assessments

We will carry out a full assessment on around five buildings or sites of your choice to identify climate friendly improvement options.

Typically, this will include:

• An initial site visit to assess the current energy use characteristics of the building, including heat and cooling provision, thermal insulation, electricity use, patterns of occupancy and use.

• A review of the practical and technical suitability of a full range of additional energy efficiency and renewable energy measures for the building or site.

• An assessment of the likely costs, energy contributions, financial and CO2 savings from the adoption of suitable measures.

• A review of other aspects of site management with climate change implications; procurement, waste and recycling, water use, land use and biodiversity, education and awareness, transport.

• An evaluation of the energy options and site management in order to provide a series of recommendations and an action plan. We can also help you to obtain funding to implement the plan.

• A full report covering all these aspects, for all of the sites assessed.
