The Climate Friendly Co. has teamed up with The National Energy Foundation to help establish the 'Energy for Good' programme in the South East region.

Energy for Good is a complete renewables delivery programme. It is a low risk, cost effective and proven solution to delivering renewable energy installations in local authority areas:

• Helps householders, groups and businesses who are interested in purchasing renewable energy systems by giving accurate technical and economic advice.

• Handholds public and business customers through to completion. We help customers access grants and deal with any disputes that may arise.

• Local installers of a range of renewable energy technologies vetted, appointed and managed.

• Offers assurance that high technical standards of installation and value for money from appointed local installers are adhered to.

• Delivers public information meetings to stimulate enquiries from members of the public

• Trains Local Authority frontline staff to deal with enquiries from the public and how to use the database system.

• Publicity and advice materials provided

• Managed by the National Energy Foundation (NEF), an independent educational charity who have years of experience in dealing with members of the public regarding renewable energy technologies and understand how it can be a minefield for non-experts.
